Canada Day

The Birthday of Canada is July 1st (versus july 4th for our U.S. friends) Canada was formed in 1867 and we all bring out our red and white for the big bash

Working the way to the Hill	Crowds everywhere	Stop to watch one of several 'Buskers' along your way
Another large crowd gathers around a 'Busker'	These guys drum out a tune	Music from a suitcase who would have thought!

Traditional dancers provide the entertainment on Sparks St.	This is as close as I could get to Parliament Hill	This was taken around 11:30 am so if it looks busy now just wait!
The sign says it all, Farmers are protesting subsides given to outside imports	Farmers were out in force giving out Cheese curds and Ice cream along with Canadian Flags	I spotted this temporary tattoo and in this light thought it looked quite elegant
A view heading down Sparks St.	As you can see the crowd quickly thickens the closer you get to Parliament Hill

RCMP Musical Ride

The Musical ride is usually touring for the year but around Canada Day they always seem to return for us to see them one more time.
