Bonnechere Caves

The official web site is www.bonnecherecaves.com
The caves are about a 80 minute drive from downtown Ottawa, the site was a little off the beaten path but we found it fairly easy. Our guide started with a description of the the area and the fossils that can be found in the caves, we then followed a short path to the cave entrance and walked down the stone steps onto a boardwalk. The caves are large enough that everyone could stand easily and our group was able to gather around the guide with no problems in most areas of the cave. I noticed the young and old all seemed to enjoy the caves so definitely an enjoyable family outing!
