biline's Acura RSX Evo Xmod

Hiding under the body of this particular Xmod is the all new Evolution chassis! This new chassis is vastly improved over the original one starting with the relocation of the batteries to the bottom of the car, The rear suspension is remarkable as it actually pivots similar to a Mono-shock set-up to really hold the wheels to the ground. The 130 size motor stays but those nasty pinions have been replaced with a user replaceable plastic gear and the Steering servo is also vastly improved with a 40% improvement in cornering ability. the Bearing have been increased in size and are almost completely sealed! The main body also has two connections for use with the ground effects kit and running lights at the same time. Of course that's not all but I really wanted to get some pics up with the ground effects installed.

The first thing that was added was the Full Bearing Kit closely followed by the All-wheel drive upgrade, these are musts for any Xmod you plan to race.

I'm using the new Duracell Ni-mh batteries rated at 900mah these last close to 20 minutes and really seem to provide lots of current. I may try an upgrade to Prismatic Li-on Cells in the near future.

The suspension upgrades were installed and I'm happy with the Yellow medium springs for Now, but I left the factory tie-rod in as it seemed to provide the best straight ahead with tight turns compromise out of all the possible upgrades.

I've Swapped the Standard motor can for a ball-bearing one and upgraded the stock magnets to Neodymium which has greatly improved the launch and top-speed of this little monster.

This Xmod started out as an Infinity G35 and I opted for the older Acura body style as the Green Ground effects definitely seemed weird under a red car!

Yes all the body styles are backwards compatible with a minor exchange of the body mounting clip!
